About me:
I grew up in Half Moon Bay, California, and moved to Sacramento to pursue my B.S. in Graphic Design at California State University, Sacramento, graduating in 2020. During college, I discovered both my passion for design and my love for rugby, balancing studio work with competing on the rugby field and developing strong collaboration and time management skills.
My first exposure to apparel design came through working as a campus representative for University Tees, where I helped coordinate sorority apparel. While the role focused on representation and sales, it sparked my curiosity about the apparel design process. Conversations with in house designers and insight into their workflow introduced me to the world of apparel production and planted the foundation for my interest in the field.
Alongside playing rugby, I served as marketing manager for my team and for GRIDS, Sacramento State’s graphic design club, creating social content and designing team apparel. These experiences deepened my interest in apparel design and community focused branding.
In 2020, I founded Modish Rugger, a modern rugby apparel company focused on representation and creativity within the sport. Through Modish Rugger, I continue to develop my apparel design and production skills while building a brand that gives back to the rugby community.
Alongside running my business, I work full time as a graphic designer at SkySlope, where I refine my craft through advertising and digital design. Together, these experiences shape my approach as a designer, blending creativity, technical precision, and a strong connection to the communities I design for.
