More about me:
I grew up in the beautiful town of Half Moon Bay, California, then made the move to Sacramento for college. I was accepted into the Sacramento State Graphic Design program in 2018, and graduated recently in spring 2020. At Sac State I discovered my love for design and development of brands. I also found a love for working in a team environment not only in the classroom but also on the rugby field. Playing rugby for three years of my four year college experience, I found myself mastering time management between design projects, practice, and games. I also became the marketing manager for my rugby team, developing graphics for our instagram account and designing our team gear. During my junior year I was voted in as marketing manager of GRIDS — Sacramento State’s Graphic Design Club. I am now the current social media designer for Design Week Sacramento. I volunteer with Design Week Sac to develop graphics for their instagram account to spread the word about this amazing event held annually in Sacramento.
While my time at school was cut short due to Covid 19 my creativity was not dampened. Through this pandemic, I have discovered my love for business, marketing, and screen printing. I founded my first company, Modish Rugger, and now create modern rugby apparel and products for rugby players around the world. I spend most of my time screen printing in my garage or working on new designs for the community to enjoy. Through this company, I have also been able to give back by creating a campaign, donating proceeds each month to organizations in the rugby community.
